The 8th International Youth Conference (IYC 8) was held at Hanover square in New York. There was a vibrant and diverse hybrid participation of over 20,000 young people around the globe. Inspiring, fruitful and insightful dialogues that paved the way for sustainable solutions and future collaborations were experienced by the youth.
After two years of Covid Pandemic, the 2023 High Level Political Forum (HLPF) on Sustainable Development took place at the United Nations’ Headquarter in New York. Thousands of delegates from around the globe converged to present their voluntary National reviews and discuss their views with regard to the efforts of realizing the 2030 agenda for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This forum was hybrid.

July was a very busy month for JCoR as we engaged in the United Nations' annual High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF).
The 66th session of the Commission on the Status of Women took place from March 14 – 25, 2022. The priority theme of CSW66 was, “Achieving gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls in the context of climate change, environmental and disaster risk reduction policies and programmes”.
This presentation highlights how Sacred Heart education continues in the tradition of St. Madeleine Sophie, who knew that to educate is an act of justice.
