The 8th International Youth Conference (IYC 8) was held at Hanover square in New York. There was a vibrant and diverse hybrid participation of over 20,000 young people around the globe. Inspiring, fruitful and insightful dialogues that paved the way for sustainable solutions and future collaborations were experienced by the youth.
The array of innovative ideas and creative approaches by the youth promised a brighter and more sustainable future. Eloquent Speakers and panelists enriched the sessions with invaluable insights and knowledge. Participants were enthusiastic and brought diverse perspectives to the table. Volunteers and the organizing team exhibited relentless hard work, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence. Partners and sponsors who believe in the vision of the IYC supported the youth by joining or making presentations at the IYC8.
At the end of the conference, the youth committed themselves to collaborate, share knowledge, and work collectively towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) shared goals and betterment of the global community. They promised to stay tuned for upcoming events and to attend the IYC 9 in Los Angeles California (May 30 th to June 1 st , 2024).
They called upon the rest of the youth to join the IYC, to stay engaged and connected, to keep the flame of change burning and to continue to inspire and empower the rest of the youth for a better and more inclusive world.
