Vertical Tabs Overview Background The Special Education Centre is set within the Colegio Mater Admirabile, El Agustino. Objective To improve the sensorial skills of the students of the Centre for Special Needs of the Mater Admirabile School, El Agustino. Outcomes Special education students have been able to develop sensory-motor integration skills by interacting with their physical environment. They have also been able to improve the mastering of their body emotions from a motion aspect and a global integration of their body. Students with disabilities have responded to different stimuli that increased their reflexes. Students have been step by step taking part in psychomotor activities with tasks from lesser to greater complexity. Students have been taking part in experimental body stimulation of each of the sensory systems. The multi-sensorial-motor stimulation room was implemented in the Special Education section. El contexto El Centro de Educación Especial, dentro del Colegio Mater Admirabile, El Agustino El objetivo Mejorar las capacidades sensoriales de los estudiantes del Centro de Educación Especial del Colegio Mater Admirabile, El Agustino. Logros Los estudiantes del Centro de Educación Especial han logrado desarrollar habilidades de integración sensorial - psicomotor interactuando con su entorno corporal, así como el dominio emocional corporal desde la percepción motriz e integración global de su cuerpo. Los estudiantes con discapacidad se han adaptado a diferentes estímulos que estimulan sus reflejos. Los estudiantes se van integrando a las actividades psicomotoras de forma progresiva con tareas de menor a mayor complejidad. Se brinda a los estudiantes estimulación experimental corporal de cada uno de los sistemas sensoriales. Se implementó la sala de estimulación multisensorial – motriz en la modalidad de Educación Especial.
