You are all invited to participate in Teaching Tuesdays, a weekly wisdom series.
Over the next year, each Tuesday we will explore the basic principles of Catholic Social Teaching, drawing on the wisdom and experience of Fred Kammer, S.J., of the Jesuit Social Research Institute in New Orleans, some professors from the Faculty of Social Sciences at the Gregorian University in Rome, and experts from other institutions.
We begin this series on World Social Justice Day, 20 February, as a reminder of our common call to commit ourselves to building a more just world for all, where the dignity of every creature is defended and respected and the common good prevails.
From 25 February 2025, SJES will provide weekly articles, valuable resources and webinars with engaging discussions to help participants explore key issues such as human dignity, racism, poverty, freedom, advocacy, corruption, the common good, subsidiarity, solidarity and others.
Registration for Teaching Tuesdays is now open. Participants who complete the programme will receive a certificate of participation, recognizing their commitment to learning and engagement.
Whether you are a student, educator, pastoral worker, or simply interested in Catholic Social Thought, this series will provide some of the tools and perspectives needed to apply these teachings in real-world contexts.
