The World Day of Prayer for Peace was celebrated on January 1, 2025, with the theme "Forgive us our trespasses: grant us your peace." 

Established by Pope Paul VI in 1968, this day calls for reflection on the importance of peace and encourages acts of kindness and solidarity to foster fraternity among all people.
