Provides retreats and spiritual direction for homeless men and women
The ISP programs foster:
Our programs provide hope, encourage the spiritual life, and thereby ultimately end the injustice of homelessness.
Description of Our Programs:
Advocacy and education around issues involving water.
To support schools in Uganda-Kenya by raising funds for building needs and equipment, sponsoring student education, responding to various needs dictated by current events and other fund raising items to support justice and peace.
Education for peace and justice at university level.
Focus is on political and normative theory of international relations, with emphases on human rights, poverty alleviation, just war theory, Catholic social teaching in international relations, and the role of the Nobel Peace Prize in world politics.
Helps provide education for young people in Bourgne, Haiti (fundraising).
Through St Camillus Catholic Church basic English is offered to migrants twice a week.
Background
Founded in 2011, the Eden House empowers women, that have survived abuse and/or human trafficking, to transform their lives through the healing power of life in community.
Activities
Two-year residential programme providing education, job training and psychological counselling for women to move forward in life and become self-sufficient.
Middle school awareness programme provides service learning and fundraising to help a wide variety of groups including UGK and Our Lady of Guardalupe Houston.
