The Uganda/Kenya (UGK) JPIC Committee invites everyone to pledge themselves to an hour of extra prayer each day, at whatever time is possible for them. This invitation to prayer begins in October until the end of the G7 Meeting in November.
We began our meeting with a prayer led by Margaret Conroy rscj.
We used the song,“Spirit of God in the clear running water,” and paid much attention to the meaning of the words, which speak of creation “groaning” until it is fulfilled.
We try to be kind to one another, and as leaders to be servants of others, not controlling them; to have transformative relationship, to be Christ-like.
We try to listen to others and connect with them; relationships which are compassionate
We try to eat our meals together, talk of what matters in our life, and have discussions in community.
