Social Justice Programme: Year 11 students choose a charitable institution to go and assist their work during their own time. The minimum time to spend in the chosen charity is 20 hours per student.

To raise awareness among the Sacré Coeur School in Melbourne of social justice and environmental issues during the Lent season.
Activities
Each year, during the season of Lent, the whole school community engages in the social awareness and fundraising campaign called Project Compassion. Project Compassion is an archdiocese wide initiative which supports the work of Caritas Australia.

Background
The Friday Night School was established in the late 1990s. The program pairs together around 400 students each week - 200 children from migrant and refugee families and 200 student tutors from local schools, mainly Catholic schools, including Sacré-Cœur.

Awareness raising about the migrant issue at Stuartholme School of the Sacred Heart, Brisbane.

Yeronga State School: A group of students and teachers go to this school once a week to help with homework for refugee children.

Harmony Day: Year 11 welcome students from Yeronga and Milperra (a State School where refugees go in the first instance to learn English) for a day of activities at Stuartholme.
