The 2026 ECOSOC Forum on Financing for Development (FfD Forum) is a high-level United Nations meeting took place on April 20–24, 2026, at the UN Headquarters in New York. It is the primary intergovernmental process for reviewing the Addis Ababa Action Agenda (AAAA) and monitoring how funding is implemented to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This forum aims to address financing gaps and debt challenges for developing countries, as highlighted in the 2026 Financing for Sustainable Development Report.
Despite today’s global challenges, the Forum sent a hopeful message: the world can still come together, find common ground, and build solutions to shared concerns. Throughout the discussions, there was a renewed sense that multilateral cooperation can still deliver meaningful results.
