Overview

Background

This project wants to respond to the need that people have to cover their personal hygiene and care needs. Many of the migrants do not live in minimum-standard conditions thus preventing them to socialise in any normal way with others. They cannot access social service networks of integration and not even engage in any active job hunting.

Objectives

To promote healthy hygiene habits and personal care among migrants and their families, as a means to prevent diseases and maintain a healthy life, thus collaborating in their social, labour and educational integration

  • Clothing: 
    • gathering of second-hand clothes
  • Showers:
    • works for piping
    • purchase of gel douche
    • hand out of towels
  • Laundry:
    • works for piping
    • purchase of washing machine
    • purchase of dryer
    • purchase of washing powder
    • volunteer to care about the washing machine turns of the migrants' washing

 

El contexto

Este proyecto quiere dar respuesta a la necesidad que tienen las personas de cubrir sus necesidades de higiene y de cuidado personal. Muchas de las personas inmigrantes no pueden tener acceso a unas condiciones mínimas de habitabilidad, por las características del lugar en el que residen y eso hace que no puedan relacionarse con los otros con normalidad, no puedan acceder a los circuitos de inserción de la sociedad de acogida y mucho menos que puedan realizar una búsqueda activa de trabajo.

El objetivo

Fomentar hábitos de higiene y cuidados personales de los inmigrantes y sus familias, como medio para prevenir enfermedades y mantener una vida saludable colaborando así en su integración social, laboral y educativa.

    • reforma del local para la construcción de duchas (tuberias, agua)
    • compra de jabon, shampoo
    • toallas
  • Servicio de lavandería
    • reforma del local para el suministro de agua (tuberias)
    • compra de lavadoras
    • compra de secadoras
    • compra de detergente 
    • voluntarios que gestionan los turnos de los lavados de cada migrante
