Founded in 2011, the Eden House empowers women, that have survived abuse and/or human trafficking, to transform their lives through the healing power of life in community.
Activities
Two-year residential programme providing education, job training and psychological counselling for women to move forward in life and become self-sufficient.
It provides a safe home, coordinating recovery services, and through advocacy, outreach, education. The approach to recovery builds on the principles of love, community, grace, gratitude, acceptance, freedom, forgiveness, respect, and empowerment.
Ensures that each new member has a family of mentors who have faced similar struggles to serve as standards for what the future can hold.
Partnerships: Eden House is patterned after Magdalene House/Thistle Farms in Nashville, Tennessee, which has a long history of providing successful recovery services for trafficking survivors.
