The Sacred Heart at the UN, on behalf of the Society of the Sacred Heart, endorses Towards the IMRF: A Feminist Manifesto for Structural Transformation in Migration Governance.

The Women in Migration Network urges member states at the International Migration Review Forum (IMRF) to protect the rights, autonomy, and humanity of all migrants—rejecting exclusionary politics. Build a resilient global migration system rooted in human rights, international law, and gender-responsive, migrant-centered cooperation.

This demands concrete, time-bound actions: robust accountability, full GCM implementation at all levels, and confronting criminalizing policies. Prioritize dignity, justice, and solidarity to uphold the GCM and multilateralism amid rising displacement.

We call for a new social contract that embraces mobility as a human reality, tackles root causes, and values lives over narrow interests.
