Spirituality at Rishikesh community

Background

The city of Rishikesh is set at the foothills of the Himalayas besides the Ganges river. It is regarded as one of the holiest places for Hindus and is renowned as a center for studying yoga and meditation. Temples and ashrams (centers for spiritual studies) line the eastern bank of the river.

Activities

The RSCJ community in Rishikesh provide spiritual accompaniment:  

• Spiritual accompaniment for personal and social harmony.
• Personal spiritual orientation for personal integration and human solidarity.
• Inter faith and Ecumenical harmony.
• Response to wide variety of issues of Justice and peace, local environmental issues.
• Migrant workers needs
