Overview

Background

Within the Sacred Heart School, in 1984, the Independent Study Programme for Adults was created, today the Centre for Alternative Basic Education (CEBA), to provide an opportunity to study for young people and adults who had to abandon their secondary education due to poverty, expulsion from other educational centres, early pregnancy, etc.

El contexto

Dentro del Colegio del Sagrado Corazon, en el año 1984, se creó el Programa de Estudios Independientes para Adultos, hoy Centro de Educación Básica Alternativa (CEBA), para brindar una oportunidad de estudios a los jóvenes y adultos que tuvieron que abandonar sus estudios de educación secundaria por pobreza, expulsión de otros centros educativos, embarazo precoz, etc.
