Following the energy crisis and the President of the Republic's call for sobriety, the newly elected Eco-delegates were named "Ambassadors of Light" in the council of eco-delegates. They were made aware by the internet to turn off the lights in the corridors, toilets and classrooms; in order to avoid waste and limit consumption. We would like to congratulate all the pupils and adults of the school who contributed to meeting the challenge. In other words: "It's not Versailles here!" ". The "Ambassadors of Light" met on Thursday 03/23/23 to be congratulated by the Council of Eco Delegates and bring back to their class a poster stipulating that the challenge was won by all. Well done, let us continue!
Our Eco-school project is gradually being structured and alternates between short-term and long-term actions. Working in a global approach but with local actions, this sometimes forces us to go beyond the theme of the year. We will therefore address biodiversity as a priority and will discuss, for example, a topical subject such as energy savings.
Our Eco-school project allows us to work differently on the National Education program on Sustainable and Environmental Development. This will now impact the way we: teach, eat, build, move, consume water/energy and use our space. Working towards the transformation of the world, dear to our founder Madeleine Sophie Barat, thus becomes a daily reality.
