
Objective
To provide a space for youth seeking a deeper meaning in their life through contact with and service to the most vulnerable people. To promote life in community for youth and so discover the will of God in their lives.
Activities
Comunity Life: youth share their experience with each other in community meetings. An RSCJ leads the meetings.
Contemplation and discernment: youth are accompanied in their personal prayers as well as prayers in common; youth are help in the review and the fruits of their personal and common experience by giving them elements to deepen the gospel from the heart of Jesus.
Inclusion: following a simple life when getting into contact with poor people. Classroom support to teachers working in schools in the neighbourhood. Visits to local families. Collaboration with the Fondation Con Tus Manos.
Outcomes
Youth have had contact with the most vulerable. Youth have collaborated with the Foundation Con Tus Manos in Michiaihue. Youth have learnt about the Society's spirituality and lifestyle; they are motivated to deepen it and have collaborated with the Society's mission. Links have been strengthened between different people, realities and lives (social, economic, cultural and educational). RSCJ and youth have together listened to the beating heart of Jesus and lived the intercultural encounter for the most vulnearble and for peace.
