Activities:

- Reduce use of plastic bag: students make their own cloth school bags
- Environmental care: a compound-cleaning day near the church with the Pontifical Missionary children and students from Archbishop Njenga Girls (May 2014).

- Prevention of soil erosion: tree planting on bare land (kei apple, avocado, mangoes, passion, guvas, pawpaws trees) and growing of vegetables
- Increase soil fertility: kitchen compost recycling, organic manure from cows or decomposing plants.
- Introduce rain harvesting tanks
Results
- Plastic waste reduced
- Veggies have more nutrients (soil fertility)
- Soil erosion less severe
- The bare compound shows beauty with trees
- The bare compound no more used for burning of waste material from
- Extra food supply (fruit and veggies) - for patients and students
- Tree show as a barrier of security
