Objective

To offer a space for after-school tutoring and the development of personal skills for children of Michaihue (city of Concepcion).

Activities

Training for instructors; after-school tutoring workshops; sport and arts activities; celebration of the Day of the Child; Celebrations of local feasts; Educational Path; Visits to children’s home and schools.

Outcomes

Children have improved their school results and passed to the upper level; Children have acquired social skills; Children have improved their concentration when at school; Children have their homework done; Children attend school with enthusiasm; Children have improved their sports skills and/or discover new sports and improved their artistic skills; Children have received 2 light meals on Saturdays (breakfast and mid-morning snack); Volunteers have been formed for children support; Increased links with families and schools.
