Ecos groups, Care for the Environment, Stuartholme school

Objective

To increase environmental awareness among students at Stuartholme School Brisbane (Australia).

Activities

Creation of a environmental student group called Ecos.
- Ecos runs environmental awareness activities among the student body.
- Ecos encourages practical activities like planting new trees in the school bushland
- Ecos takes part in the general social justice group in the school.
In 2016, a junior group of our JPIC group will be focused on environmental issues within the community.
Clean-up Australia: Students participate in the nationwide activity by volunteering in the local area.
