
Background
Computers have become indispensable in schools, and even more following pandemic when online teaching took over. During the lockdown, the school lent its computers to students to have them attend online teaching. Computers have been overused showed technical issues that limited students to complete their tasks brining discouragement.
Activities
The project bought new laptops and a digital whiteboard. Teachers run awareness courses on internet challenges.
Results
The new IT equipment brought noticeable changes in pupils attitudes and skills. They become familiar with software for presentations and video making, showed ability to search selective online data. And, they presented stronger self-confidence and open mind to new encounters. They participated in the online JPIC design contest and two pupils reached the 1st and 2nd position.
