Agenda 21 Awareness Raising

Objective:

To foster sustainable development habits in the school premises and its environment.

Activities

• Election of an Agenda 21 agent for each class whose job is to raise awareness about the care of our school environment (Granada).
• Improve waste management: Manufacturing of recycling bins for each classroom (Granada).
• Layout and printing of a leaflet about sustainable development and recycling methods (Granada)
• Use of recycled materials in various activities
• Contest of recycled Christmas trees (Granada)
• Day of the solidary toy.
• Collaboration with the Barcelona Council project School + Sustainable: school vegetable garden (Besos, Diputacio - Barcelona) 

Outcomes

The entire school community, staff, students, families, will have acquired knowledge and habits to achieve changes in behaviour for a proper sustainable development.
