Objective

  • To build up, as Jesus Christ did, a Christian, fraternal, diverse and open community, where all feel welcome and respected as they are. 

  • To celebrate the joy of Christ in the homosexual reality. 

  • To give evidence on the joy of bringing together faith and homosexuality, and welcome those seeking for a church experience from its sexual diversity to foster LGBT integration, in particular for those who are most vulnerable in the Church.  

Activities

  • Bi-weekly meetings with LGBT groups;

  • Bi-weekly meetings with LGBT parents and relatives;

  • LGBT awareness raising workshops (when required);

  • Telling of testimonies in parishes, schools and others;

  • Personal accompaniment; 

Outcomes

  • Appreciation towards PADIS+ (Sexual Diversity Pastoral) has increased in the local neighbourhood.  

  • A new reflection group on Sexual Diversity (gender) has been set up.
