Refurbishment of a hut at the Kosecka Training Centre, Kimwenza, Kinshasa

Overview

The refurbished hut has significantly enhanced group dynamics and community spirit among the girls of the Kosecka training centre. The girls that, because of lack of space, tended to gather in smaller groups, they now come together in this shared space.

This new communal area promotes interaction and is crucial for fostering a quality education. The girls now have a dedicated place to revise their lessons before classes, for group activities and to host external speakers. They are enthusiastic about the new space, feeling valued and cared for.

El pabellón reformado ha mejorado notablemente la dinámica de grupo y el espíritu de comunidad entre las alumnas del centro de formación de Kosecka. Las alumnas que, por falta de espacio, tendían a reunirse en grupos más pequeños, ahora se juntan en este espacio compartido.

Este nuevo espacio común ha fomentado la interacción entre ellas y la cohesión, esencial para una educación de calidad. Las alumnas tienen ahora un lugar dedicado a repasar sus lecciones antes de las clases, para las actividades de grupo y para invitar a oradores externos. Se muestran entusiastas con el nuevo espacio, pues se sienten valoradas y cuidadas

La récupération de la paillotte a considérablement amélioré la dynamique de groupe et l’esprit communautaire parmi les élèves du centre de formation de Kosecka. Les élèves qui, par manque d’espace tendaient à se réunir en petits groupes, se retrouvent désormais dans cet espace commun.

Cette paillotte a stimulé l’interaction entre elles, ce qui est crucial pour favoriser une éducation de qualité. Les élèves disposent dorénavant d’un lieu réservé pour réviser leurs leçons avant les cours, pour des activités de groupe et accueillir des conférenciers. Elles se montrent enthousiastes de ce nouvel espace, se sentant valorisées et prises en charge.
