As members of the JPIC Commission, Margaret Mwarili rscj and Rachel Guillien rscj express their profound gratitude for the invitation to the Sacred Heart Summit in Chicago.

They presented on their respective areas of focus: the work at the United Nations, particularly regarding the goals for sustainable development, and issues related to immigration.

The Summit served as an extraordinary gathering, uniting representatives from Sacred Heart schools across the United States, as well as participants from Mexico, Uganda, and Europe.

The theme of the Summit, "Hearts Rooted in Change," encouraged students to heed the urgent calls of our world. In the concluding half-day session, participants dedicated time to planning social projects aimed at fostering positive change within their communities.
