• Writing articles for newspaper drawing attention to local injustices, for example the cruel way cattle are crammed into lorries to be brought to the slaughter house in Kampala and the way house girls are treated.
• To tell the story of Augustin Muserero. He began in a very small way by joining the JPIC club on UMU campus. Now he is involved in JPIC at an international level doing wonderful work.

• Decrease the quantity of water taken from a lake Victoria: harvest of rain water in a huge tank

• Improve waste management: Recycle plastic and newspapers in a plant; reuse tinfoil and plastic bags.  

The objective is to improve environmental conditions in Moroto.

• Set a fruit and vegetable garden (indirectly: self-sustainability)
• Compost from peelings and left-overs: soil fertility
• Plastic recycling: lorry from a Kampala recycling plant comes and collect plastic rubbish. Partnership with NGO to have ex-prisonners helping in plastic rubbish collection.
