High-Level Political Forum 2026

Loading Events

The High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) serves as the central UN platform for follow-up and review of the 2030 Agenda and its 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Established in 2013 under the UN General Assembly and Economic and Social Council, it replaced the Commission on Sustainable Development to provide political leadership on sustainable development. Annual meetings, typically in July, include ministerial segments and voluntary national reviews to track progress on commitments like Agenda 21 and Rio+20 outcomes.
