Background
The old school uniforms, boarding bedding, books and sport equipment can be polished out, mended for reuse and new users.
Objective
To support provide material support for marginalised people (migrants and homeless) in London and to schools and an orphanage in Uganda and Ghana
Activities:
- sorting and packing redundant school uniforms, bedding, books, sports equipment from Woldingham School
- washing and mending of clothes done by RSCJ and staff in Hayes
- send mended material to Uganda and Ghana to schools and orphanage by shipping container
- send mended material to RAMP (Refugee And Migrant Project) charity
- send mended material to a charity shop
