Background

The Sacred Heart Professional Training College is a training centre for  Postgraduate Certificate in Education. It trains future kindergarten and nursery teachers.

As many of our students who come from non-Christian schools that haven’t experienced any of the voluntary works nor paid much attention to the current social problems, we have religion class as obligatory subject and try to make them realise the importance of the idea of JPIC. Our emphases in the beginning is making them conscious of the matter. We think it is important to make them work and feel the joy of serving others, so some of our programs are not voluntary but obligatory.
