Objective

To mitigate life in prison and increase prisoners' self-esteem.

 

Activities

    • Weekly visits to Moroto Prison: A RSCJ of Naoi community together with a Comboni Sister and 2 lay women to spend time with the prisoners, praying, reflecting on the Gospel of the following Sunday, relating with them with love and respect.  
    • Planning leisure events:  Three times a year or more they help prisoners to prepare plays for Christmas, Holy week and a play depicting a Bible story like the Joseph son of Jacob. 
    • Material provision: from time to time provide prisoners with soap and food. For those doing primary school they bring scholastic materials.
