Background
One of the key goal of the Schools of the Sacred Heart is to commit themselves to educate to a "social a social awareness which impels to action". Students are inspired to help the ones in need and actively engage in humanitarian initiatives.
Objective
To raise awareness among the students of the School of the Sacred Heart of Kincoppal-Rose Bay (Sydney, Australia) about people who are marginalised.
Activities
Year 9 students interacting with homeless people, street youth, charitable organisations within the inner city of Sydney (Inner City Immersion Programme).
