Background
Stuartholme adopts a fundraising policy that supports the Catholic Social Teaching principles.
Activities
- Caritas: First Term fundraising each year is devoted towards Project Compassion the Lenten project proposed by Caritas.
- Society of the Sacred Heart Projects: The students raise money on various occasions for various Society projects.
- Live Below the Line (See Website attached in support documents) Some students participate in this program each year.
- St Vincent de Paul & Womens Refuge: Each pastoral care group donates various items including blankets, sanitary items, food, Christmas apparel to these two organisation for our Christmas appeal.
- Drought relief: Students and staff raised money to send to Our Ladys Longreach and Drought Angels. Over $3000 has been donated to this severely drought affected country region. A number of our boarders come from this region.
